Lower back pain is an ever-growing national problem with more than 80% of the adult population suffering from back pain at some point in their life. It which requires specialist knowledge and training in order to understand and effectively treat it. The prevalence of this condition has increased significantly in recent decades, and is one of the most common reasons why people take time off work.

Sport specific training programs are carefully crafted to focus on conditioning the body and mind to excel through the unique demands for endurance, speed, agility, balance and recovery required by each sport as well as minimise injury.

The programs enable you to train the correct energy systems and develop specific muscle groups which are distinct in your sport.

Diabetes

Diabetes is the body’s inability to control blood glucose levels. 3.2 million people have been diagnosed with diabetes in the UK in 2013. It is estimated that 5 million people will have diabetes in the UK by 2025.

If you already have diabetes, it’s time to take control and manage the condition. Coronary Heart Disease (CHD)

Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) is usually caused by a build-up of fatty deposits on the walls of the arteries around the heart (coronary arteries). It's responsible for more than 73,000 deaths in the UK each year. Approx 1 in 6 men and 1 in 10 women die from CHD.

You are at risk of developing CHD if you have any of these: high blood pressure (hypertension), have high cholesterol, don’t exercise regularly, obese/overweight, have a poor diet and diabetic.

A BMI of 25 to 29.9 is considered overweight. A BMI of 30 and above is considered obese. Individuals who fall into the BMI range of 25 to 34.9, and have a waist size of over 40 inches for men and 35 inches for women, are considered to be at especially high risk for health problems. These include cardiovascular (heart and blood circulation) disease, gallbladder disease, high blood pressure (hypertension), type 2 diabetes, osteoarthritis, certain types of cancer and mental health disorders.
